Mokume Gane is like painting a seascape.

The idea was based on dripping water onto a pool. I designed and made this unique 18ct white gold engagement ring which was made of with a banded sapphire.

The lady liked Mokume rings and the imagery of the sea, sand and waves. So this gave me the opportunity to paint a seascape using all different colours of golds including some rare 18ct green gold.

So I made the seascape ring, then framed it with 18ct white gold to protect from damaging either rings when wore side by side.
